Swirl tap - designed by art student Simin Qiu at the Royal College of Art
(Also the winner of the Concept Design Award - 2014)

The Swirl tap uses two turbines inside the faucet to send the water into a spiral. This uses 15 per cent less water than traditional taps and the hollow jet is also more gentle on the hands.
